AMITE, La. - An Amite councilman arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated has pleaded not guilty.
Arthur Leonard, Jr. was arraigned in a Tangipahoa Parish courtroom Thursday.
In December, he was pulled over by Louisiana State Police in a sobriety checkpoint for drug impairment.
His next court date is in April.
