NEW ORLEANS -- Eyewitness News has learned the St. Tammany Parish Coroner's Office has now turned over documents to the parish president's office.
A parish spokesperson says the files arrived from Dr. Peter Galvan's office on Monday.
Pat Brister had requested time sheets and a copy of the coroner's office leave policy last week "before" calling for Galvan's immediate resignation "with" the parish council.
The request is the result of claims of overspending by Galvan.
The documents are being reviewed to determine if they are what was requested.
Editor's Note: We originally reported that it was the Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office. That was an error. We apologize for the confusion.
