BOGALUSA, La. -- The intruder broke through a bank window, leaving blood on the walls and floor, and scraping a bit of bare floor with its hooves.
Bogalusa Police Department acting Major Ed Gomez said Tuesday that the alarm at Resource Bank went off at 4:42 p.m. Sunday and witness calls came in immediately afterward.
He says one witness told police that the deer ran out of a park so close to her car that she almost hit it, then went into the window.
From the damage inside, it apparently ran around the room at least once.
The deer apparently wasn't seriously hurt -- police didn't find any blood outside the building.
