SLIDELL, La. -- A Slidell man arrested on kickback charges days after returning to the United States after being detained in an African Country for more than a month will be in court in two weeks.
Mark McCabe, 53, is scheduled for an initial hearing on Jan. 3 in a federal courtroom in New Orleans.
He's accused of accepting tens of thousands of dollars in kickbacks from subcontractors while working in Afghanistan in 2009.
McCabe says the allegations are false.
