Man hawking flowers on Valentine's Day arrested for fraud

LORANGER, La. - A man selling flowers on the side of the road on Valentine's Day was arrested by deputies after discovering that he was wanted on fraud  charges.

According to Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards, the sheriff's office received a complaint of a suspicious person selling flowers near the intersection of Milkplant Road and La. 40.

Detectives went to the scene and talked to the man, identified as 32-year-old Joshua Rugg Robinson of Bogalusa. A check into Robinson's background showed that he was wanted by Louisiana State Police on fraud charges.

He was taken to jail and booked and charged.
