COVINGTON, La. – The son of an alleged former KKK leader has pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice in connection with the killing of a would-be recruit in November 2008.
Shane Foster will receive a three-year sentence in connection with the crime.
Foster’s father, Raymond Foster, is charged with second-degree murder in the killing of 43-year-old Cynthia Lunch of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Shane Foster pleaded guilty to helping clean up the scene of the killing.
Authorities have said Lynch was recruited by way of the Internet to join a Klan faction led by the elder Foster but that she was shot after saying she wanted to leave the site of a planned initiation.
