A Mandeville man was arrested and charged with 34 counts of child pornography after three law enforcement agencies combined in an investigation to catch the man.
Charles Cox Jr, 36, of Mandeville was arrested Friday, the state attorney general’s office reported. Authorities from the attorney general’s High Technology Crime Unit, Homeland Security and Mandeville Police Department all played a part in halting Cox.
According to attorney general spokeswoman Amanda Larkins, Cox allegedly broke state law forbidding anyone from producing, distributing, possessing or possessing with intent to distribute pornography involving juveniles.
Cox was booked into the St. Tammany Parish jail.
