The New Orleans Advocate says that a Slidell resident is calling for an investigation of about a dozen emails, allegedly sent by a St. Tammany Sheriff's Office Captain, that she says are full of racial jokes.
The Advocate's Richard Thompson reports that the emails were apparently received and forwarded by Capt. Bobby Juge to a list of recipients, some of whom also worked in the sheriff's office. Some of the emails included attacks on President Barack Obama and some depicting black men as monkeys.
