The St. Tammany Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding a missing Mandeville mother. Nicole Jefferson, 31, disappeared sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning.
"We're looking at everything right now," Captain George Bonnett of the St. Tammany Sheriff's Office said Friday. "We're not ruling anything in or out."
"She would never leave either her kids or her job," Connie Schilling said Friday. Schilling is Jefferson's mother, and lives next door. "We've tried reaching out to people that we haven't seen in awhile, to see if maybe.. because I'm sitting here going - have they heard anything from anyone? But nobody's heard nothing."
Nicole Jefferson is a TSA agent at Armstrong International Airport. She was scheduled to be at work at 3 a.m. Monday. Her mother said she received a text from Nicole around 11 p.m. Sunday, meaning the mother of four disappeared during that time.
Connie Schilling described the mystery surrounding her daughter's disappearance as "horrible," and said she did not believe Nicole simply took off."What bothers me most is I'm next door and I didn't hear or see anything," Connie Schilling said. "That's the one that's really bothering me. I feel like I should have heard something."
The St. Tammany Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information on Nicole Jefferson's disappearance to call 911.
