SLIDELL, La. -- Police are investigating the fatal shooting of 21-year-old man. The victim who was shot twice to the head was found in a parking lot on Gause Boulevard, according to Slidell Police.
Warren Pryor's body was found in a parking lot in the 1400 block of Gause around 11 p.m. Monday, according to police. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
"The investigation is in its early stages, but Slidell Police Investigators believe they have a suspect in the case and are awaiting an opportunity to interview him. The suspect is a 20-year-old New Orleans man that has ties to the Slidell area. The suspect is currently in custody in New Orleans after he turned himself into N.O.P.D. The suspect was wanted on an outstanding homicide warrant out of New Orleans," said a statement from Slidell Police.
Pryor's silver Chevrolet Malibu was found in New Orleans after it was burned. The gun used in the shooting has not been recovered, according to police, and the motive is unknown.
