SLIDELL, La. -- St. Tammany deputies have arrested three people in connection with a series of auto burglaries and say some of them held one of their victims at gunpoint.

Deputies say 24-year-old Blain Hebert, 22-year-old Kenneth Smith and 18-year-old Amber Ward are linked to 13 vehicle burglaries in the Slidell area this past weekend.

One of the victims told deputies the two men forced their way into his home and held him at gunpoint while they robbed the place.

The three are charged with aggravated burglary and 13 counts of simple burglary.
