COVINGTON, La. — St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Officers are asking for help as they continue searching for a 15-year-old missing since Feb. 14.

Hor-Kaih Pierre was reported missing by her mother, Korenda Pierre, that day, authorities said.

The missing girl is described as 5-foot-5, weighing approximately 145 pounds with light brown skin, brown eyes and wavy brown hair.

She was last seen by her grandfather while waiting for the school bus on E. 7th Street in Covington, La.  A STPSO spokeswoman said the 15-year-old had a small suitcase with her and that the grandfather thought she was sleeping at a friend’s house.

According to the spokeswoman, Pierre didn’t attend school that day and hasn’t been seen since.

She contacted her family and friends using her tablet shortly after disappearing, but hasn’t been heard from since the early communication, the spokeswoman said.

Anyone with information about Pierre or her location is asked to call the STPSO at 985-276-1326.
