MANDEVILLE, La. -  The two suspects wanted in a Mandeville home burglary were taken into custody after being found in their red Ford truck inside of Bayou Segnette State Park Thursday morning around 9:30 a.m.

The Mandeville Police said they are heading to the southshore to continue the investigation into 28-year-old Jason Morales and 21-year-old Alison Smith.

Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for two suspects who were caught on tape burglarizing a home on Purple Martin Lane in Mandeville.

According to Mandeville Police, the suspects shattered the back glass door and took i-Pods, a laptop computer, perfume and a soccer bag from a home on Purple Martin Lane in Mandeville.

Police also said the suspects had been living out of their truck and sleeping at various tate parks on the north and south shores of Lake Pontchartrain.
