Two arrested for DWI for driving same car within minutes of each other

MANDEVILLE, La. – Two men were arrested on DWI and hit and run charges for driving the same car within minutes of each other, according to Mandeville Police.

Michael Donahue Miller, 21 and Stephen Flint were booked with Hit and Run and DWI. Police said Flint’s DWI was his fifth offense. He was also cited for unlawful refusal to take an intoxi-lyer test.

According to police, the incident started when at the Red Barn Pub on Lafitte Street in Mandeville. Police said Flint and Miller, along with a third man got into a tan jeep to drive away from the pub. Police said witnesses told them that Flint was behind the wheel when it struck the building. Police said at that time Miller got behind the wheel and drove away.

Responding officers found the car a few minutes away at a second bar and arrested both men on DWI and other charges.
