COVINGTON, La. - Police are looking for three armed men who broke into the residence of a 20-year-old woman, stole some money and locked her in a room before fleeing.
Covington Police spokesman Jack West said the incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of West 33rd Avenue.
According to West, the three men forced the woman to go from room to room as they searched for money. He said they found just under $100, then locked the woman in a room and left.
He said the woman was not physically harmed.
West said the suspects were medium to thinly-built black males, two of whom were wearing bandannas and all of whom were brandishing guns.
