Photos | Worst cities in America for sleep
#10 Providence, R.I.
Is New York the city that never sleeps? Actually, no! Researchers have looked at cities where people get the best and worst sleep. According to Real Age, Louisville tops the worst city for sleeping, followed by Memphis and Knoxville. The rankings mean that the cities either get too much sleep (more than 9.5 hours) or too little (less than 3.5). Real Age examined changes in sleep habits but did not look at what may be behind the lack of shut-eye. The best places for sleep? Charlotte, North Carolina, Cleveland, and Minneapolis – St. Paul.
