Danica Patrick said goodbye to IndyCar and began her full-time NASCAR career in the Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway on February 25. Patrick led the first two laps of the season-opening race, but on lap 49, she ended up in the wall, then in the garage. Patrick would finish 38th. Patrick also had troubles off the track. She announced in November that she was divorcing her husband of seven years.
