I think this is a no-doubter. Jackson was the best, most consistent defensive force this franchise has ever seen and, he's a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Jackson went to six Pro Bowls, was NFL Player of the Month twice and earned All-Pro honors six times in his career.

He's the Saints' all-time sack leader with 115, 32 sacks more than the second-most. At 195 games, he has played in more games than any other Saints save for kicker Morten Andersen.

He led the Saints in sacks four straight years and five out of six from 1983 to 1988.

The Saints are going to put up a 'Ring of Honor' in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. They said the first group will be announced on Nov. 10.

We don't know too much, for instance, how many players will be in the first group? Will they induct someone yearly?

But, assuming that qualified players and coaches will be eventually on the 'Ring' and, assuming that you have to be retired to get there, here's a list of who might be on it.
