METAIRIE, La. - Dozens of people turned out to cut their locks in order to help children with cancer.
At Lakeside Mall the group 'Locks of Love' was cutting hair from those who have it in abundance to donate to children who have lost their hair to cancer, fire or a hair loss condition known as Alopecia Areata.
Locks of Love takes the shorn hair and weaves it into wigs for the children to wear. Sunday, some of the future recipients of the hair were on hand to help with the process.
