James "Stoney" Wines
James "Stoney" Wines. Member of the First Special Service Force in WWII also known as The Devils Brigade or The Black Devils. This group paved the way for subsequent special forces like the SEALS and The Green Berets. He passed away in Feb of this year. Senator Max Baucus is trying to get Congress to pass a bill that will allow for the members of this group to receive the Congressional Gold Medal of Honor.
