HAMMOND, La. - Deputies are searching for a white pickup truck that was used to pull the front off of a building and then drag out an ATM that was inside.

The incident occurred sometime before 10:30 p.m. at Ryan's Deli located at 43195 South Range Road in Hammond.

According to Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards, the sheriff's office received several calls about the front of the deli being collapsed and the business being exposed to the public.

Edwards said several witnesses said that a white-colored pickup backed up to the front entrance, a chain was hooked up to the front doors and they were pulled down. Edwards said the chain was then hooked to the ATM and it was dragged outside.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-554-5245.
