But Who Dats like Anderson say the NFL commissioner won't receive a warm welcome from them.
“He would be booed so bad that I would be embarrassed for him,” said Anderson. “He’s forever going to be the face behind the season that could have been, should have been, and wasn’t.”
A spokesman wouldn't say if the NFL will ramp up security for Goodell in New Orleans, saying the NFL doesn’t discuss security arrangements for any employees.
“Everyone here at the league office, including the commissioner, is excited about returning to New Orleans for the Super Bowl. We have been planning for years for this Super Bowl and are excited to help show the world that New Orleans is back, bigger and better than ever," said NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy in a statement.
