Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- An elderly Walmart greeter took matters into his own hands when a customer tried to steal a bike from the store.
Louisville Police say the greeter stopped Brandon Grigsby, 22, at the door of the Locust Way Walmart.
When the greeter asked for his receipt, the man jumped on the bike and took off.
That's when police say the greeter grabbed Grigsby's shirt and was pulled into the parking lot.
Grigsby shoved the greeter to the ground and rode away.
The greeter was taken to the hospital with a large cut on his head, but he was released Monday.
Grigsby was eventually caught, and charged with robbery.
