Video shows car, person of interest in murder of Ciara McElveen

Surveillance video of a car matching the description of the car at the scene of a murder in February shows a person getting out of the car. Police believe this person could have vital information about the murder.

New surveillance video released by the New Orleans Police Department could lead to vital information about a February murder in the 1600 block of Columbus street in the 7th Ward. 

The video shows a vehicle of interest in the murder of a transgender woman, 25-year-old Ciara McElveen. The transgender woman was stabbed to death, just two days after another transgendered woman was found shot and killed in New Orleans East.

The video shows a car matching the description of a car at the scene of McElveen's murder. The video was captured around the time she was found. Police believe the person seen getting out of the car could have vital information about the murder.
