SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — Police say they have arrested a couple at Puerto Rico's main airport after sniffer dogs found cocaine in their luggage.

Officers arrested Neftali Lozada Munoz and Naikary Roldan after allegedly finding 41 kilograms of cocaine in their suitcases at the Luis Munoz Marin Airport.

Police Sgt. Felipe Rodriguez said Sunday that the San Juan residents were preparing to board a flight to New York. It's not immediately known if they have lawyers.

Agents also seized two more suitcases found to be holding 20 kilograms of cocaine while being inspected for the same flight.

In June, U.S. federal agents arrested dozens of baggage handlers, airline workers and others suspected of smuggling millions of dollars' worth of cocaine aboard commercial flights for at least a decade.
