MADRID (AP) — Officials say police have dismantled an organization that allegedly cultivated marijuana in Spain for sale in the Netherlands, frozen some of its assets and arrested 21 mostly Dutch suspects.

The Interior Ministry said Saturday that more than a hundred agents, including Inland Revenue investigators from both countries, uncovered 15 plantations that used hydroponic technology to grow 13,000 plants throughout the province of Malaga.

Investigators seized 15 kilograms (33 pounds) of Afghan hashish, one kilogram of ecstasy, 20 mostly luxury vehicles and sought embargoes on five properties in Spain and 18 in the Netherlands, valued at 4.4 million euros ($5.8 million).
