Tania Dall

Tania Dall joined the Eyewitness News team as a general assignment reporter in June 2011, and is thrilled to call New Orleans her new home.

Before arriving at WWL-TV, Tania spent three years working as a reporter at KXLY in Spokane, WA. During her time there, Tania was part of an Emmy award winning team of journalists, honored with "Best Newscast." Some memorable assignments include covering the 2008 Presidential Election, record breaking snowfall that left the city paralyzed, and a brushfire that destroyed 13 homes.

Prior to that, Tania worked at WWSB in Sarasota, FL forging her way through the newsroom ranks as a freelance assignment editor, producer and then reporter. She is well-versed in tropical storms, palmetto bugs, and humidity.

Tania spent her early years growing up in the Northeast, and has also lived overseas in Peru, Jordan, Zambia and the U.K. She graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in journalism and minor in political science. In college, Tania began her journalism career interning and then working at the Boston Globe as an editorial assistant. She also interned at CNN’s Washington D.C. Bureau.

When Tania isn’t chasing down a news story, you’ll find her tearing up the dance floor, experimenting "badly" in the kitchen, volunteering in the community and spending quality time with family and close friends.
