Traffic Reporter Tamica Lee is “excited to have found a home and to be part of WWL-TV.”
Lee’s duties include updated Morning News viewers on traffic conditions several times an hour from 5 am until 9 am.
Bursting big time onto the local scene as a host of “New Orleans Tonight” in February 2013, Lee handled interview and anchoring duties for the nightly 30-minute show during Super Bowl week.
Lee was raised in New Orleans, going to Ursuline Academy for high school and ULL in Lafayette for college, where she majored in Communications and was a member of the Ragin Cajun dance team.
Lee’s experience both as a performer and one who coaches them have included being a Saintsation from 2001-2005 and then working as a choreographer for the VooDoo Dolls dance team among others.
On air, in addition to the “New Orleans Tonight” stint, Lee has also hosted several behind the scenes entertainment segments for the New Orleans Saints.
She was a TV host for Spun TV from 2007-2010 and was a promotions host for Bounce TV.
