METAIRIE, La. – The agent for quarterback Luke McCown tweeted that his client signed a contract with the Saints following his tryout with the team.
The Saints were in need of a third quarterback while it continues to negotiate a long-term contract with Drew Brees.
“Congrats to Luke McCown for signing with the #Saints!” agent Mike McCartney said.
McCown turned heads beginning with his first practice of the three-day minicamp that just concluded.
