NEW ORLEANS -- Draft analyst Mike Detillier calls it an extreme longshot, a bomb by the University of Arkansas. But Detillier confirms the Razorbacks have made a five-year $27 million offer to LSU football coach Les Miles.
The Razorbacks reportedly want an answer quickly.
Miles is a spectacular 85-20 at LSU and 10-2 this year.
The person handling the offer for Arkansas, according to Detillier, is Cowboys owner and Razorback alumnus Jerry Jones, who's not having a good year. Those two teams are 9-14.
For now no one in the college football world is giving a Les Miles-to-Arkansas scenario any real chance of happening.
