METAIRIE, La. — Jahri Evans and Mark Ingram missed their second consecutive practice while Roman Harper sat out his third as the Saints continued preparations for their second home game of the season.
Evans (hamstring), Ingram (toe) and Harper (knee) all played this past Sunday against Tampa Bay and it’s still too early to tell whether they’ll be held out against Arizona this week.
If Evans, the starting right guard, were to sit, it would break a string of 114 regular season games started without sitting out, the most among active NFL guards and the most by a Saints player to start a career.
Meanwhile, nose tackle Brodrick Bunkley (calf), defensive end Tom Johnson (hamstring) and safety Isa Abdul-Quddus (ankle) also sat out.
The good news for a team riddled with injury, defensive linemen Tyrunn Walker (knee) and Glenn Foster (ankle) practiced on a limited basis.
The rest of the roster was full.
