BATON ROUGE, La. -- The University of Alabama may have bettered LSU on the football field, but the Crimson Tide can't surpass the Tigers in terms of wealth.

According to a Forbes story, the Tigers are the 4th most valuable college football team in the county.  LSU ranks behind only Texas, Michigan and Notre Dame. Bama finished 6th.

The Tigers are valued at $103 million, according to Forbes, with $69 million in revenue and $45 million in profit.
