NEW ORLEANS -- Hornets guard Eric Gordon will miss tonight's game against Portland with a sprained right hand.
The team announced the move about 30 minutes prior to tip-off but after the open locker room period and coach Monty Williams' pre-game media session.
Team officials had no other information as to when the injury occurred or its severity.
Gordon missed the first 29 games of the season with a left knee injury. Since his return, he has sat out five other games, all of which were second games of a back-to-backs.
