Hornets center Aaron Gray took shots in front of the rim today two days after spraining his ankle in New Orleans’ Game 1 109-100 win over Los Angeles.
Gray continued to rehab his ankle, said Hornets coach Monty Williams, who credited trainer John Ishner with getting the swelling out of the ankle.
While he’s listed day-to-day, Gray will be needed if the Hornets are to pull off a second-straight upset over the two-time defending champions.
“We’ll need everybody,” Williams said. “That has been the mantra for us all year long. We’ve got to do it together. We got contributions from everyone who played. With the injuries this year and different situations, we’ve had to coach around that all year long.”
