NEW ORLEANS -- Hornets guard Greivis Vasquez has been named the Western Conference Player of Week.
Vasquez averaged 21 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and an NBA-leading 10 assists over the span.
The Hornets were 2-1 during that stretch.
Vazquez is fourth in the NBA in assists with 8.8 per game.
This is Vazquez's first player of the week honors.
