NEW ORLEANS -- A day after New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham signed his benchmark four-year, $40 million contract, the terms of that deal beyond the first two years are beginning to become more clear.

As reported yesterday, Graham will make $21 million over the first two years of the deal, $13 million in 2014 and $8 million in 2015. While his cap hit is just $4 million this season, it rises significantly next year, jumping to $11 million.

On the third day of the waiver period next season, his $2.9 million base salary and $5 million roster bonus will be fully guaranteed. He is also in line for a $100,000 roster bonus, taking him to that $8 million total.
