BATON ROUGE, La. -- Solo home runs by Mikie Mahtook and Trey Watkins assured LSU of victory Sunday in a 5-1 win over Arkansas.
Mahtook hit his blast in the fifth inning for a 2-0 lead by the Tigers (16-3, 2-1 Southeastern Conference), while leadoff batter Watkins lined one over the right-field wall in the sixth for a 3-1 margin.
Arkansas (13-5, 1-2 SEC) stranded 11 runners on base.
