BATON ROUGE -- On the heels of their Southeastern tournament championship Sunday, the LSU Tigers are seeded fourth in the NCAA tournament and will host a regional at Alex Box Stadium.

Despite beating Vanderbilt in the title game 5-4 in 11 innings, the Tigers are seeded below the Commodores. North Carolina earned the top seed, with Vanderbilt second and Oregon third.

LSU will host Jackson State, Sam Houston State, UL-Lafayette at the Baton Rouge Regional.

Each NCAA Regional is a four-team, double elimination bracket played from Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2, or Monday, June 3, if game 7 is necessary. (See ticket info)

Game One for (1) LSU is Friday at 2 p.m. vs. (4) Jackson State. (2) UL-Lafayatte will face (3) Sam Houston State play at 7 p.m.

If LSU were to win the regional, they would face the winner of the Blacksburg Regional -- Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Coastal Carolina and UConn -- in Baton Rouge for a super regional.
