NEW ORLEANS — Hornets beleaguered guard Eric Gordon will go to Los Angeles where the franchise has arranged for him to undergo “a more personalized and intensive rehab regimen.”

According to the team, the move will give Gordon, who had surgery to repair his right knee this past spring, the ability to work with a specialist.

The time table for his return is still set for 4-6 weeks.

Gordon missed all of preseason and the first three games of this season. He sat out 57 of 66 games in 2011-12 after coming to New Orleans from the Clippers as part of the blockbuster Chris Paul trade.
