METAIRIE, La. — Three players sat out Wednesday for the Saints as they prepare for their season finale against Carolina.

Fullback Jed Collins (left knee) missed his fourth straight practice and sixth in past seven sessions. He sat out Sunday’s win at Dallas.

Meanwhile, defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (knee) and running back Pierre Thomas (right knee) were out, as well, as was cornerback Jabari Greer (concussion).

Both tight end Jimmy Graham (left wrist) and running back Chris Ivory (hamstring) were both full. Ivory didn’t practice at all the week of the Tampa Bay game and last week was limited all three days.

For  Carolina, center Geoff Hangartner (foot) and linebacker James Anderson (back) didn't practice with injuries. Eight others - tackle Jordan Gross, tight end Greg Olsen, receiver Steve Smith, linebacker Thomas Davis, defensive tackle Dwan Edwards and defensive ends Charles Johnson and Greg Hardy and running back DeAngelo Williams - didn't practice for reasons unrelated to injuries.

Running back Jonathan Stewart (ankle) and receiver Brandon LaFell (toe) were both limited.
