Saints QB Brees moving up NFL all-time lists after Sunday’s win

NEW ORLEANS – Saints quarterback Drew Brees tied Brett Favre for second-most consecutive games with a touchdown pass.

The tying-pass came with 2:27 to play in the first quarter when Brees hit receiver Lance Moore for a 3-yard touchdown, giving the Saints quarterback a scoring pass in 36 consecutive games.

Brees now trails Johnny Unitas’ record of 47 straight games with a touchdown pass.

Brees also moved past Joe Montana for career completions with 3,414 and now sits 10th all-time in that category.

He moved past Dave Krieg into 13th place for career passing yards with 38,360 and broke a tie with Dan Fouts and Sonny Jurgensen for career touchdown passes with 256. He’s now 12th all-time in that category.
