The Saints and Parys Haralson have agreed to a one-year contract, the franchise announced.

Haralson came to New Orleans in a training camp trade this past August when it looked like the Saints were going to have depth issues at outside linebacker because of injuries.

He played in all 16 regular season games, starting eight of them, and finished with 35 tackles and 3.5 sacks.

The 49ers drafted Haralson out of Tennessee in 2006 and played in 102 games with San Francisco. He had 25 sacks with the 49ers.
