METAIRIE, La. — Saints safety Rafael Bush remained the only player to not practice for the team ahead of Sunday’s rematch at Carolina.

That’s part of the good news for New Orleans.

The other part?

Carolina receiver Steve Smith didn’t practice, either, sitting out with a finger injury that had him limited in Wednesday’s practice.

For New Orleans (10-4), tight end Josh Hill (hamstring) and linebacker Keyunta Dawson (calf) both were limited while safety Roman Harper (hip) was bumped to full.

Bush (ankle) hasn’t practiced since injuring his ankle early in New Orleans’ loss to Seattle on Dec. 2.

The Panthers (10-4) report was a little bit longer. Running back Jonathan Stewart (knee) joined Smith on the sidelines Thursday. Tight end Brandon Williams (hip) was limited.

Tackle Jordan Gross (N.I.R.) and guard Travelle Wharton (N.I.R.) both practiced after sitting out Wednesday, as did tight end Greg Olsen (foot).
