METAIRIE, La. – The Saints’ injury report was breathtakingly short for the second day in a row, a positive step as the team heads into the final stretch of important games during the 2010 regular season.

Running backs Pierre Thomas (ankle) and Julius Jones (ankle) both were full while offensive tackle Charles Brown (back) was limited.

It’s Thomas’ second day in a row to be full, giving credence to the belief that only a setback would keep him off the game field Sunday. Thomas injured his ankle on Sept. 26 against Atlanta while Jones tweaked his ankle against Cincinnati this past Sunday.

Right tackle Jon Stinchcomb missed Wednesday’s practice with food poisoning but returned Thursday.

The Saints (9-3) host the St. Louis Rams (6-6) on Sunday at 3:05 p.m.
