NEW ORLEANS -- Tulane football is coming to WWL-TV this fall, as part of a new partnership with the Tulane University Athletics Department with the “Tulane Coach’s Show” airing on Channel 4 on Sunday nights.

The show will be a 30-minute broadcast featuring Green Wave football coach Curtis “CJ” Johnson and the members of the award-winning Eyewitness Sports team, Doug Mouton, Juan Kincaid and Bryan Salmond.

“This is a great partnership of two locally proud institutions”, said WWL-TV General Manager Tod Smith.

“Green Wave football is a tradition in Southeast Louisiana and throughout the region, and now our viewers will get the ultimate coverage during this exciting time in the program’s history”

The announcement comes as Tulane football gets ready to kick off its first season in Yulman Stadium—a state-of-the-art 30,000 capacity stadium located at the university.  It marks the first time a Green Wave football game will be played on campus in almost 40 years.

“I am truly excited to partner with WWL-TV for the Tulane Coach’s Show this fall,” Tulane head coach Curtis Johnson said.

“This is a great opportunity to showcase Tulane football on one of the top television stations in the city, state and region.  I look forward to working with WWL-TV to bring the best of Tulane football to our fans every Sunday night this fall.”
