NEW ORLEANS — Hornets guards Greivis Vasquez and Eric Gordon have been given the green light to play tonight in New Orleans’ home game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Both missed the team’s Monday night win over Denver with ankle injuries.
It was the first game Vasquez has missed with New Orleans since being traded to the Hornets prior to the 2011-12 season. He had a string of 139 consecutive games played before Monday.
Gordon, meanwhile, sat out his 40th game this season, but first with an ankle injury. The prior 39 were due to his right knee, which the Hornets are cautiously bringing along by not allowing him to play the second games of back-to-backs. He missed the first 29 games this season while rehabilitating in California.
