NEW ORLEANS -- Call it the Anthony Davis factor. The Hornets are now over 12,000 season ticket equivalents.

That means if you sell four to 10 game packages, that equals one season ticket.

New Orleans has never had 12,000 season tickets before.

Davis, who was taken with the first overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Hornets, is clearly inspiring optimism in the fan base.

Single game tickets go on sale Thursday.
