The Hornets will play the Orlando Magic in Mexico City during the preseason, New Orleans’ first trip abroad since the 2008 preseason.
The game was first reported by the Times-Picayune earlier this week.
The Oct. 7 game marks the 18th time the NBA has played a game in Mexico City and the 20th time the league has played a game in Mexico.
