NEW ORLEANS -- A week after acquiring the guard, the New Orleans Hornets have waived Matt Carroll.
The Hornets traded for Carroll on Nov. 13 in a swap with the Charlotte Bobcats. They sent forward Hakim Warrick.
Carroll didn't appear in a game for the Hornets.
The team's roster now stands at 13.
