NEW ORLEANS — Anthony Davis and Eric Gordon have officially been shut down for the final four games of the Pelicans’ season.

The team said physicians examined Davis, who had been experiencing back spasms, and determined that his injury needed 1-2 weeks of rest; there’s only one week of the season remaining.

Davis averaged 20.8 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.8 blocks in 67 games this season.

Gordon, meanwhile, has missed the past 10 games with a left knee injury. He started 64 games and averaged 15.4 points, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals.
